About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Growth team at Bubble, you will be tasked with modernizing Bubble's Editor, streamlining onboarding for early users, and supercharging our growth. This role is crucial as the gateway for every Bubble user, directly impacting our business trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects and design technical solutions
- Ship a lot of code and drive technical excellence
- Mentor other engineers
- Work on a full-stack environment using technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, Redis, Postgres, TimescaleDB, AWS, CDK/Terraform, ECS, and Elastic
We Are Looking For
- 6+ years’ industry experience as a software engineer, preferably at high-growth startups
- Strong coding skills and the ability to mentor other engineers
- Excellent communication skills
- Alignment with our values: a desire to empower others, a focus on team and user success over individual achievement, and transparency and willingness to admit mistakes and failures

Location
This role is based in New York City, and while we do not have any in-office attendance requirements, we prefer hiring people within commuting distance of our NYC office because we value getting together in person regularly.
