Bubbl is seeking an exceptional Senior Software Engineer Manager to join our founding team. This role is pivotal in leading our technology strategy and building our social travel platform, targeting digital nomads. Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Development
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions tailored for marketplaces in travel, real estate, or crowdfunding.
- Develop robust, high-quality code across the full technology stack.
- Ensure software scalability and reliability as the startup grows.
Product Strategy
- Collaborate closely with co-founders to define product vision and roadmap based on market research and user feedback.
- Prioritize features and tasks, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
Architecture Design
- Design a flexible and scalable architecture that supports a rapidly growing user base and integrates with various third-party services and APIs, especially in the travel or real estate domains.
Team Building and Leadership
- Manage globally distributed teams, hiring and mentoring new team members.
- Establish a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate technical challenges and progress to non-technical co-founders and stakeholders.
- Engage with customers to gather insights that inform product enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building and scaling successful B2C marketplace or social platforms, within the travel, real estate, or crowdfunding sectors.
- Strong expertise in modern programming languages and frameworks such as React, Python, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and Flutter.
- Strong experience in managing distributed teams, including outsourced development teams.
- Strong experience with cloud services, database management, and DevOps tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
