Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure to join our platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and distributed systems that power our machine learning pipeline, web platform, and edge devices. Your work will directly impact the reliability and availability of our services, which are crucial for our customers' safety operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and distributed systems for data processing, MLOps, and other services.
- DevOps Practices: Develop and implement DevOps practices to deploy applications in AWS EKS.
- Infrastructure as Code: Build infrastructure configuration-as-code modules using Terraform.
- Architecture Design: Design and develop architectures for running AI on real-time video at scale.
- Security Implementation: Implement security best practices for the software engineering organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps.
- Proficiency with the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Experience with AWS services including IAM, S3, RDS, EKS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experience building and scaling high availability distributed systems.
- Understanding of standard observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Cloudwatch, etc.
