Job Overview
Optimizely is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Commerce team in Stockholm. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our e-commerce offerings. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, architect, and implement software solutions that are simple, secure, scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with User Experience Designers, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
- Testing: Develop and apply thorough automated testing techniques to ensure product quality.
- Project Planning: Contribute to project planning, including requirements elicitation, design, task grooming, and scoping.
- Mentorship: Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers and team members.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technology, engineering techniques, and best practices.
About You
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software development with modern practices.
- Technical Skills: Strong in software design and engineering concepts, particularly object-oriented analysis, design, and programming. Expert-level knowledge of the .NET development platform.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with the development and operational aspects of cloud-based software.
- Communication: Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Team Player: Enjoys solving problems collaboratively and is an excellent communicator.
- Adaptability: Experience in designing and building large, modular applications with continuous releases.
