Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core, AWS)

Job Overview

Reveleer is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the development and maintenance of our existing applications, as well as the creation of platform services and components to be utilized by other development teams. We are looking for highly motivated engineers who can work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, and Maintain Applications: Work on web-based SaaS applications to enhance performance and reliability, and participate in the development of new industry-leading products using technologies such as C#, .NET Core, and MSSQL.
• Cloud Solutions: Design, develop, and maintain complex and secure cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
• Distributed Systems: Develop high-performance distributed systems using .NET Core and open-source technologies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, analysts, team members, and stakeholders to understand customer needs, document software requirements, and ensure applications deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot problems, whether due to data, software, or configuration, and work to rapidly implement repairs.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior software developers.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that software developed meets high-quality standards through continuous testing, debugging, and code refactoring.
• Business Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of the business domain in which the software operates and translate these requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for continuous improvement and work with team members and engineering leadership to advance processes, platforms, and tools.

Required Skills

• Core .NET Core/7/8: Enterprise web application development experience (5+ years).
• Object-oriented Coding Practices: Strong understanding of UMI and Design Patterns.
• Agile Environment: Experience operating in an Agile environment with a solid understanding of Agile methodology, patterns, and practices.
• SQL Knowledge: Advanced SQL knowledge (MS SQL preferred) with experience in DB and query optimization.
• Event-driven Architectures: Experience with API Development and cloud-native development (AWS preferred).
• Test Automation: Experience with test automation frameworks and understanding of automation best practices.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Containerized Applications: Experience building and deploying containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.).
• Distributed Systems: Experience with high-traffic distributed systems at scale.

Additional Desired Skills

• CI/CD Tooling: Experience in practicing continuous delivery and configuring deployment pipelines using modern CI/CD tooling (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.).
• Cloud Expertise: Expertise in areas such as Lambda/Function, message queues/topics, cloud storage, etc. (AWS Preferred).
• ReactJS: Experience working with ReactJS.
• Enterprise Architecture: Experience in enterprise architecture.
• Healthcare Domain Knowledge: A plus if you have knowledge in the healthcare domain.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree: In Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a similar technology-related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum of five years of full-time experience in developing software solutions.
• Adaptability: Must be able to manage changing direction and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork: Must be able to work with a variety of personalities and skill levels in a matrixed environment to accomplish deliverables and goals.
