About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on the View Master (SDK) team, you will be instrumental in building and scaling low-latency, high-throughput systems that connect publishers with advertisers. This role involves developing new ad formats and templates, enhancing automation quality, and ensuring interoperability between creative and SDK. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing automated testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new ad formats and templates through the web-based rendering engine.
- Collaborate with product and creative teams to design and build new ad units and features.
- Continuously improve automation quality and interoperability between creative and SDK.
- Maintain and enhance automated testing strategies.
- Utilize experimentation and canary release strategies to measure and compare performance.
- Enhance existing ad units and ensure compatibility across SDK platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
- Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain high code quality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in JavaScript, CSS preprocessors, and HTML5.
- Experience working in an Agile development team.
- Proficiency in developing mobile-first user interfaces.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, ParcelJS, Preact, Finite State Machine (XState), TDD with Jest, Webkit, Playwright for integration testing.
- Automated testing strategies using AWS Device Farm, iOS and Android simulators, and Lighthouse for web application validation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
- Previous AdTech experience is highly valued.
