Senior Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and expand our data analysis products and data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js)
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver user-facing features
• Actively improve product features for some of the largest companies in the world
• Write unit, integration, and load tests as necessary
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Write and review technical proposals
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Qualifications

• Experience with client-side web development
• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals such as data structures, distributed systems, concurrency, and threading
• A commitment to working in a communicative and collaborative environment
• You write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability
• You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems
• You value high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices

Pay

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4-5:

• Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area (if not Bay area specific role): $173,000 - $235,000
• Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $156,000 - $212,000
• Zone 3: All other US locations: $147,000 - $200,000
