CAST AI is on a mission to revolutionize Kubernetes cost optimization for AWS, GCP, and Azure customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in virtualization and systems programming to join our LIVE team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on a stealth project within the CTO’s office, joining as the first engineer of this newly formed team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize software solutions for Kubernetes environments.
- Work closely with the CTO and other senior engineers on innovative projects.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong programming skills in C and Go.
- Extensive experience with Linux environments and system programming.
- Proficiency in containers and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
- Deep understanding of low-level Linux details, including process-level operations.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with storage APIs and systems, including snapshot, clone, provision, attach, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
