Senior Solutions Architect, React Native

Job Description

As we launch new technologies that drive future customer experiences, the Core Device Software team is looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Senior Solutions Architect experienced with React Native. You will be a trusted partner to application developers and others in the application development community, advising them on how to build world-class solutions and experiences. You will engage with partners to understand their product and business drivers, assess their product and technology needs, and design performant, reliable, and cost-effective architectures. You will work closely with our engineering teams to share first-hand feedback from developers, helping drive improvements and innovation. As we continue to grow our developer community, you will capture and share our best practices, generate technical content, and evangelize our solutions. This position requires technical expertise, the ability to effectively communicate and evangelize, and a relentless commitment to long-term customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly understand technical architectures to identify how our solutions can deliver for our developers.
• Build proof of concept solutions to guide and shape the developer and customer journey.
• Build reference architecture, frameworks, and toolkits to drive adoption at scale.
• Develop unique, compelling, and exciting presentations and demonstrations of new Amazon technologies.
• Deliver persuasive, passionate, high impact, high quality presentations to senior decision makers.
• Document best practices and create development resources that can be used by developers.
• Assist with complex challenges.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline (or comparable industry experience).
• 8+ years of experience in design and development of device, mobile, or user interface solutions.
• 2+ years of customer-facing roles, evangelizing technologies and building/maintaining developer relations.
• Experience with React Native and other development languages or frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
