Job Description
As a Senior Software Architect at AUTODOC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software architecture. You will maintain an overarching view of the existing architecture of our services and provide technical advisory to various teams. Your primary responsibility will be to support the migration from PHP monoliths to a new microservice architecture, consisting of over 50 services.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Advisory: Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to teams, ensuring high-quality solutions for high-load, high-traffic, and fast response time systems.
- Architecture Design: Support domains in designing and reviewing technical solutions, ensuring they align with our architectural standards and business goals.
- Governance and Guidelines: Contribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines around domains and microservices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to understand business contexts and create scalable solutions.
- Innovation: Stay current with new technologies and drive AUTODOC from a technical perspective.
Requirements
- Experience: 9+ years in software development, with a focus on large-scale, distributed software applications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles, microservices, and cloud architectures, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply logical thinking to complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Language: Intermediate English (B1) proficiency.
