Overview
Figma is expanding our team of passionate individuals on a mission to democratize design. As a Senior Events Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Experiential Marketing team, driving the strategy and execution of both in-person and virtual events to elevate brand awareness and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Event Strategy Development: Lead the experiential event strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing goals with impactful community-centered events.
- Event Planning and Execution: Manage all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to execution, including large-scale conferences and brand activations. Oversee multiple work streams for our global user conference, Config, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Budget Management: Develop and track event budgets up to $2M, partnering with legal and finance teams to manage contracts and expenses.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on event objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Define success metrics for events, track performance, and use insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation in event strategies.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of successfully managing large and small-scale events.
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience with event production agencies and familiarity with event management tools and technologies.
Additional Information
