About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Faraday as a Founding Full-Stack Engineer. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company and product. As a founding engineer, you will have expanded ownership and a significant impact on the success of the company. You will collaborate directly with the CEO & Founder, Alex Coleman, to prepare our platform for scale.
Our office is located in Chinatown, NYC, but we are open to remote work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Improve Faraday: You will be responsible for shipping product features, fixing bugs, and removing technical debt.
- Develop Systems: Create systems capable of handling high-volume traffic and data processing.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to prioritize feature development.
- Build Tools: Develop tools to accelerate both individual and team workflows, but only when off-the-shelf solutions won’t suffice.
Who You Are
- Self-Driven: Ability to drive projects forward with relatively little oversight.
- Experienced: 3+ years of work experience in full-stack development. We value diverse backgrounds and know that great early-stage engineering can come from a variety of experiences.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- AI and ML Familiarity: Understanding of AI and ML concepts is a plus.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Startup Enthusiast: Experience and desire to work in startup environments, either as a founder or an early-stage engineer, is a bonus but not required.
