About the Role
As a Software Engineer in our Fund Administration group, you will be part of a dynamic R&D team dedicated to building the next generation of software for the venture capital industry. Our mission is to create innovative solutions that help new funds launch, enable investors to track analytics and performance, and assist fund accountants in managing financial records for investment funds ranging from $100k to billions under management.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain software systems that are clear, maintainable, and correct.
- Work on a mix of greenfield projects and enhancements to existing systems.
- Collaborate with a team of experts to solve complex business problems, such as automating allocation calculations and managing investment performance tracking.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a distributed system that supports complex customer requirements, including money movement, accounting ledgers, and rule-based engines for reconciliations and allocations.
About You
- You have a few years of professional software development experience, particularly with Python.
- You possess strong technical skills and excel in collaboration.
- You thrive in solving ambiguous problems and are eager to provide innovative solutions.
- You are passionate about building and owning your work end-to-end.
- You are familiar with or interested in our tech stack, which includes Python, Django, JavaScript, React, Postgres, GRPC, and Kafka.
- You have an interest in accounting, investment management, customer relationship management, and financial reporting.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $144,500 - $170,000 per year
- Equity: Available for all full-time roles
