About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer based in Austin, Texas, you will lead a team of engineers, driving the development of our products using Python and TypeScript. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Collaborate with the Product team to design and implement new features.
- Manage technical debt and improve processes for better efficiency.
- Develop, test, and maintain software in Python (Django) and TypeScript (React).
- Work closely with QA and design teams to ensure software quality.
- Address complex technical issues and ensure timely solutions.
- Advocate for best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, Django, and familiar with AWS, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
