About the Role
As a Software Engineer, Growth at Arena, you will be part of a dynamic engineering team that works directly with customers to solve complex, mission-critical challenges using our cutting-edge products and technologies. You will own the full solution lifecycle, from problem identification to designing and implementing data-driven solutions, and demonstrating their value in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate like a startup CTO, working closely with customers and Arena teams to build end-to-end systems in small, agile teams.
- Design systems, analyze large datasets, and develop tailored applications on top of Arena’s product stack.
- Interact with users and train AI models to address specific customer challenges.
- Prototype moonshot ideas and push the boundaries of what is possible in machine learning software.
- Spearhead the development of new features or custom applications by extending Arena's products or creating tailored solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of your time. When not traveling, work in-person at Arena's NYC headquarters.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of professional experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts.
- Excellent communication skills with empathy for end-users, ensuring usability across UI, API, and SDKs.

Salary
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $225,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity and benefits packages.
