Moloco is seeking talented and motivated Software Engineer Interns to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning technologies and contribute to the development of our next-generation ML-based ad-serving platform. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, and implement new features for our high-performance, low-latency backend servers.
Enhance system scalability, availability, and performance through innovative solutions.
Develop and improve pricing algorithms and theories.
Work closely with product managers and UI designers to design, plan, and ship new features.
Create internal tools to boost developer productivity and system efficiency.
Transform unstructured data into structured formats for analytics and machine learning applications.
Design and implement backend data pipelines for big data management.
Develop APIs to showcase the results of advertising campaigns to clients.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to work from our Seattle, WA or Redwood City, CA office.
Available for a summer internship from May through September 2025.
Enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field, with plans to return to school after the internship.
Bachelor's or Master's candidates should be graduating by June 2026.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Proficient in coding and problem-solving.
Familiarity with distributed systems and databases.
Experience with server development in languages such as C/C++, Java, Go, or Rust.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive monthly salary ranging from $9,100 to $11,000.
