Join Moloco as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern

Moloco is seeking exceptional Machine Learning Engineer Interns to join our team and contribute to building a state-of-the-art machine learning system. As an intern, you will be a full member of the team, treated as a junior engineer with the same expectations, project opportunities, and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments on state-of-the-art machine learning models using Tensorflow for real-world, large-scale problems.
• Construct and enhance data pipelines for model training and serving using Google Cloud products such as Apache Beam/Dataflow, BigQuery, and BigTable.
• Build machine learning productivity tools (e.g., model quality measurement), deploy them in Kubernetes, and help model engineers adopt them.

Minimum Qualifications

• Able and willing to work from our Redwood City, CA office.
• Available to work during the summer of 2025 (May through September).
• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field, and returning to the school program at the completion of the internship.
• Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree must be graduating and obtaining the degree by June of 2026.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in data structures and algorithms.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and/or databases.
• Fluency in at least one programming language.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Compensation Range: $9,600—$11,500 USD per month.
