About The Role
Join Kong Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Microservices using TypeScript. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices that power Kong Konnect, our Service Connectivity Platform. With guidance from Staff and Principal Engineers, you will tackle complex product integration efforts and contribute significantly to our business and customer success.

What You'll Do
- Implement and maintain services like identity, search, and provisioning.
- Design and implement solutions to technical problems of moderate complexity.
- Support these services in production by participating in an on-call rotation.
- Write automated tests to ensure code behavior and prevent regressions.
- Mentor other team members.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Experience developing and supporting a large scale SaaS platform.
- Proficiency in API design, data modeling, and automated testing.
- Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes.
