Role Overview
We are seeking intellectually curious and highly motivated individuals to join our team as Software Engineers, starting post-graduation in 2025. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about making sound product decisions and delivering high-quality products quickly. As a Software Engineer at Whatnot, you will have the opportunity to own projects from start to finish, working with a high level of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features for our live-streaming platform.
- Implement growth strategies to scale buyer and seller interactions.
- Build scalable systems to enhance our marketplace experience.
- Write and maintain product or system development code.
- Design, implement, and operate critical and scalable services.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and make informed decisions.
- Support features throughout their lifecycle, from design to launch.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or system issues.
Who You Are
- Graduating with a CS or Software Engineering degree by Summer 2025.
- A problem solver with a knack for out-of-the-box thinking.
- Willing to take risks and build products for a large user base.
- Known for shipping products and features quickly.
- Able to learn new technologies rapidly.
- Open to relocating to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City.
Compensation
- Salary: €130,000 - €140,000 per year.
- Equity: Available.
