About the Role
Join Patreon as a Software Engineering Intern and be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about empowering creators. This 12-week summer internship program, running from May to September 2025, will be hosted in our San Francisco and New York offices. As an intern, you will be expected to be in-office 2 days per week, following a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature Development: You will work on shipping a real-world feature that directly impacts the creator economy, helping creators turn their passions into sustainable careers.
- Team Collaboration: Be embedded in a world-class engineering team, collaborating with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to ensure the success of your feature.
- Learning and Growth: Benefit from mentorship by experienced engineers who will guide you through technical challenges and help you grow your skills.
- Cultural Experience: Participate in Patreon's Intern Summit and enjoy the vibrant culture of San Francisco or New York City alongside your intern cohort.
About You
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related technical field such as Mathematics or Physics.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and data structures. Experience with one or more programming languages, including Python, Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript.
- Passion for Creators: A strong interest in Patreon's mission and a desire to work with creators.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn, take feedback, and incorporate it into your work.
