About the Role
As a Staff Frontend Platform Engineer at Patreon, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the frontend infrastructure and tooling that empowers product engineering. You will design and implement frontend systems, libraries, and shared components that contribute to the success of frontend engineering. Your role will involve optimizing the loading and runtime performance of web pages and guiding efforts for other teams to achieve highly performant results. You will also plan for and lead large rollouts and migrations as we adopt new frontend technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend infrastructure and tooling to empower product engineering at Patreon.
- Design and implement frontend systems, libraries, and shared components.
- Optimize loading and runtime performance of web pages.
- Plan and lead large rollouts and migrations for new frontend technologies.
- Mentor engineers and implement training to continuously level up our engineering organization.
- Advocate for best practices, processes, and high craft solutions.
