Join Pendo as a Software Engineering Intern
Pendo is seeking dynamic, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our Engineering organization for the summer of 2025 as Software Engineering Interns. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing tech environment where your contributions will directly impact our products and customer experiences.
About the Role
As a Software Engineering Intern at Pendo, you will be part of a team that builds tools to help product managers gather comprehensive customer insights by integrating qualitative feedback with Pendo’s analytics and guidance platform. You will work on meaningful projects such as retroactive analytics or performance optimization within Pendo’s product suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of web infrastructure using programming languages such as Python, Golang, or JavaScript with frameworks like Vue.
- Participate in Agile processes including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospective activities.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and your team to rapidly develop and release Pendo products.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated critical-thinking, time-management, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Python, C#, Swift, or Kotlin.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous technical internship experience.
Internship Tracks
- Front End Internship: Understanding of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular.
- Back End or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Internship: Understanding of distributed computing fundamentals, REST APIs, and cloud computing (GCP, AWS, Azure). Experience with cloud data storage and document databases is a plus.

Compensation
The hourly pay for this internship in North Carolina is $30/hr.
