Position Overview
Archera is seeking a Software Engineering Fall Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a startup environment, contributing to the development of an exciting new product. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering team, gaining hands-on experience across the full software stack and collaborating cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance systems using Python, React, and JavaScript.
- Utilize Terraform and CloudFormation for efficient cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
- Contribute to the development of a cost-estimate widget powered by Generative AI and supported by Snowflake.
- Build and maintain a discovery catalog to improve system functionality and user experience.
- Integrate JavaScript and Python solutions into existing projects.
- Gain experience with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in scalable distributed systems.
- Participate in standups and meetings with engineering leadership.
Who You Are
- Able to work 20-40 hours per week during Fall 2024.
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Expected to graduate by June 2025.
- Prior internship experience in developing and launching products.
- Familiar with Python, JavaScript (React), Terraform, CloudFormation, and Go.
- Proficient in understanding and integrating open-source projects into existing software infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
