Software Engineering Fall Intern

Position Overview

Archera is seeking a Software Engineering Fall Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a startup environment, contributing to the development of an exciting new product. As an intern, you will work closely with our engineering team, gaining hands-on experience across the full software stack and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance systems using Python, React, and JavaScript.
Utilize Terraform and CloudFormation for efficient cloud infrastructure management and deployment.
Contribute to the development of a cost-estimate widget powered by Generative AI and supported by Snowflake.
Build and maintain a discovery catalog to improve system functionality and user experience.
Integrate JavaScript and Python solutions into existing projects.
Gain experience with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in scalable distributed systems.
Participate in standups and meetings with engineering leadership.

Who You Are

Able to work 20-40 hours per week during Fall 2024.
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Expected to graduate by June 2025.
Prior internship experience in developing and launching products.
Familiar with Python, JavaScript (React), Terraform, CloudFormation, and Go.
Proficient in understanding and integrating open-source projects into existing software infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
