Cambly is on a mission to bring high-quality English education to learners worldwide. As a Staff iOS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our mobile applications, which are used by millions of tutors and students globally.
Your Role
In this position, you will:
- Lead fast-moving initiatives in our Swift-based native iOS app.
- Shape the design and development of mission-critical, high-visibility projects.
- Ensure new users experience the magic of connecting with a native English speaker instantly.
- Build and maintain the iOS infrastructure to enable rapid feature development.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in building and shipping consumer-facing iOS software.
- Expertise: Proficient in Swift and UIKit, with knowledge of SwiftUI being advantageous.
- Skills: Deep understanding of iOS design patterns and reactive programming using RxSwift or Combine.
- Mindset: A product-minded approach to engineering, excited about working directly with students and tutors.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
