Technical Product Analyst

Job Description

Visa Inc. is seeking a Technical Product Analyst to join our team in Foster City, CA. As a Technical Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our technology repository of business rules, ensuring reusability and scalability. You will be responsible for reviewing and gatekeeping common rules, training new hires, and ensuring the integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the custodian for the new technology repository of business rules to ensure reusability and scalability.
• Review and maintain accountability for gatekeeping common rules and ensuring their integrity.
• Train new hires and share accountability until their first project is successful.
• Identify synergies among different roadmap items and recommend strategies for faster time to market.
• Define end-to-end solutions to enable new fraud solutions and partner integrations in various markets.
• Identify dependencies on other products to deliver complete end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in and sign off on product demonstrations.
• Ensure product features are clear and implemented as requested.
• Collaborate with Business teams, Data scientists, and Data modeling teams to evaluate new product opportunities.
• Define and implement strategies for new integrations with payment processors in different markets.
• Actively prioritize product backlog and participate in release/Sprint planning ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in a Technical Product Analyst-related occupation.
• Experience in hierarchy and portfolio management in the payments industry.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong skills in securing and comparing information from different sources to prioritize features.
• Ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver a product.
• Proficiency in value proposition definition and communication, product differentiation, cost/benefit analysis, and executive presentations.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid position, allowing for partial telecommuting. Employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 days a week.
• Up to 10% domestic travel required.
• The position will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment.

Salary and Benefits

• The estimated salary range for this position is $113,700 to $176,200 per year.
