Role Overview
As the Founding Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product strategy from the ground up. You will work closely with the co-founders and engineering teams to drive product success through strategic partnerships, strong organizational skills, and exceptional execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy Development: Lead the development of product strategies that align with Method's vision and customer needs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering to identify product trade-offs and ensure alignment with technical design and timelines.
- Customer Engagement: Gather and analyze core business problems and requirements from existing and prospective customers.
- Technical Problem Solving: Dive deep into the technical stack to address and solve complex issues.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5+ years in software engineering, product management, or related roles.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of fintech APIs and the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial Experience: Previous experience as a co-founder or in a startup environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Financial Services or FinTech.
Location
This position is based in Austin, TX, with a hybrid work model.
