About the Role

Visa is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Data & Insights Consultant to join our Global Business Optimization team. This team is dedicated to transforming vast amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value. As a consultant, you will work closely with Visa’s clients and internal teams to enhance portfolio performance, program profitability, and cardholder experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Analytic Insights: Derive analytic insights on client performance and deliver findings to both external and internal stakeholders. Formulate and source necessary datasets from internal tools and platforms, and present insights in compelling visualizations.
• Client Engagement: Create and present analytic deliverables to Visa clients and internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertise. Understand root problems, define analytical objectives, and formalize data requirements for various analyses.
• Data Analysis: Combine and analyze disparate data sources in a Big Data environment, independently performing analysis to render robust, thoughtful results.
• Strategy Facilitation: Proactively facilitate the overall analytic delivery strategy for the organization, comparing client performance against industry best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
• Presentation Development: Develop presentations of complex data and content for clients in an accurate, understandable, and engaging manner.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Preferred Qualifications: 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Experience visualizing data with tools like Tableau, advanced Tableau skills, and high proficiency in manipulating data from various sources using Big Data skills (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and/or SQL skills.
• Skills: Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in all MS Office applications with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, allowing you to alternate between remote and office work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
• Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
• Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting, requiring the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment.
