Job Overview
Meta is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager specializing in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our Reality Labs team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of computing by delivering cutting-edge software for augmented and virtual realities to billions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Program Management: Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, manage multiple cross-team interdependencies, and drive the delivery of complex, cross-functional feature sets.
- Technology Leadership: Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, and evolution. Develop plans to mitigate risks and deliver features that meet requirements across multiple products.
- Technical Expertise: Establish yourself as a go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing integration across your program area.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a dynamic environment. Drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of technical program management, software engineering, or systems engineering experience.
- Proven track record in building and shipping Machine Learning technologies into products.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing highly ambiguous, complex products and programs.
- Experience in leading complex execution across multiple teams in different time zones.
