Senior Product Manager - AI [PyTorch, Training, Inference]

Job Overview

Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our AI team in New York, NY. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our next-generation machine learning platform, which will power GenAI workflows, including Llama development and recommendation workflows. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, working on large-scale generative AI and recommendation models.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy: Lead the identification of significant near and long-term opportunities in a large product area. Develop and drive product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with world-class engineers and designers to drive product development while maintaining team health. Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, coordinate resources, and guide the team through key milestones.
• Performance Metrics: Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics to drive decision-making through user insights, quantitative analysis, and A/B testing.
• Innovation and Execution: Demonstrate initiative and execute with limited oversight. Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities and maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management and/or product design experience.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
• Experience navigating through the full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution.
• Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience writing machine learning models in PyTorch.
• Critical thinking and analytical leadership experience.

Compensation

• Salary Range: €171,000 - €238,000 per year
• Additional Compensation: Bonus and equity
