Senior Product Manager - AI [PyTorch, Training, Inference]

Job Overview

Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager - AI to join our team in New York, NY. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our next-generation machine learning platform, which will power GenAI workflows, including Llama development and recommendation workflows. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, creating new tools, solutions, and services for developing large-scale GenAI and generative recommendation models.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy: Lead the identification of significant near and long-term opportunities in a large product area. Drive product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in alignment with broader organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and user research, to drive product vision, define product requirements, and coordinate resources.
• Product Development: Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, ensuring team health and alignment with Meta’s strategic and competitive position.
• Metrics and Analysis: Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Use user insights, quantitative analysis, and AB testing to drive decision-making.
• Efficiency and Innovation: Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management and/or product design experience.
• Proven experience working collaboratively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
• Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, and driving prioritization.
• Experience presenting to senior executive audiences.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience writing ML models in PyTorch.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical leadership skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $171,000/year to $238,000/year
• Additional Compensation: Bonus and equity
