Job Overview
Analog Devices is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior AI Technical Lead to join our Edge AI Solutions group in Limerick, Ireland. This role is pivotal in architecting, building, and leading the technical development of our future Edge AI platform. The platform will enable the development and deployment of machine learning models for the Edge, supporting the entire AI lifecycle, from edge-to-cloud data acquisition and ingestion to model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable AI platforms for Edge applications, ensuring robust and efficient system performance.
- Lead the technical development of the Edge AI platform, defining product architecture, interfaces, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, ML/MLOps engineers, Embedded Software Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions for AI at the Edge.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Edge AI, MLOps, and software engineering and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering and proven track record of large-scale system design for software or AI systems.
- Extensive experience leading technical development projects through the entire lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Expertise in product development, cloud architectures, and MLOps/DataOps.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using technologies such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Bonus: Experience with Edge AI products or platform development and familiarity with Edge AI optimization and runtime frameworks.

- Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.
