About the Role

As a Senior AI Engineer at Aon, you will:

• Research and Experiment: Engage in researching, experimenting, and benchmarking state-of-the-art NLP and LLMs techniques and frameworks.
• Develop and Deploy: Develop, test, and deploy scalable and robust NLP, LLMs, and other AI pipelines and systems using cloud computing platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Collaborate: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver high-quality AI solutions.
• Maintain Standards: Adhere to Aon’s AIOps framework, driving the adoption and use of consistent AI design patterns.
• Document and Present: Document and present the results and insights of your work to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Skills and Experience

• A master's or PhD degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in NLP and LLMs, with a track record of contributions to large AI domain software and data engineering projects relevant to the financial services and insurance industry.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with common NLP and LLMs libraries and frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, SpaCy, NLTK, etc.
• Experience building industry-grade LLM technologies and Gen AI architecture, leveraging state-of-the-art services like DSPy, and building and maintaining Compound AI systems.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing environments, such as Azure and AWS, and experience in deploying and managing AI applications on the cloud.
• A passion for learning new technologies and staying updated with the latest research and trends in AI.
