Based in Arnhem, you will work alongside four fellow engineers to unlock and manage large data streams for over 4,000 general practices. What You Will Do

As a Software Engineer at Topicus, you will be the driving force behind our data services, helping to make the healthcare sector smarter with data. You will build and optimize RESTful APIs and data services, streamline ETL processes, and ensure new solutions are smoothly deployed. Together with 40 analytics experts, you will provide healthcare institutions such as general practitioners, regional care organizations, and ambulance services with crucial insights, enabling them to optimally manage their organizations.

By monitoring and tuning data pipelines, databases, and applications, you will ensure our data infrastructure runs stably and efficiently. Your work will make a difference for healthcare institutions that rely on reliable and up-to-date data – a role where your expertise truly counts!

What You Bring

Do you have a completed HBO or WO degree in (Technical) Computer Science? And do you have at least 3 years of experience writing scalable, readable, and maintainable code? Then we are looking for you! At Topicus Zorg, you will directly contribute to a future where healthcare institutions can do more with data – from better patient care to more efficient operations. You will have the freedom to experiment and innovate. With the qualities you bring, you will help our team take a step further! You bring experience in the following areas:

• Refactoring legacy code to a scalable and future-proof software architecture
• Applying design patterns such as Microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), or Event-driven architectures
• Working with CI/CD techniques
• Working with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Working with Infrastructure as Code and version control systems like Git
