Your Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that facilitate financial transactions. You will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, C++, Python, and PHP. Your code will be easily maintained and managed by the team, and you will handle test automation for unit and functional tests.
Responsibilities
- Develop solutions within the scope of the Software Engineering team.
- Write clean and efficient code in Java, C++, Python, PHP, or similar languages.
- Discuss and align on business priorities and team goals with Product Owners.
- Manage and handle tooling with Sysadmins to ensure a reliable delivery pipeline.
- Integrate various financial systems and third-party services for seamless transaction processing.
Is This You?
- Passionate about software engineering with a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in Java, C++, Python, PHP, and familiar with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Problem-solver who thrives in complex sectors like financial systems and electronic payments.
- Understanding of security principles and compliance regulations in financial software.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch as a plus.
- Willing to work from our Brussels office 2-3 times per month.
