What does a Patent Examiner do?

Patent examiners play a crucial role in helping inventors and innovative businesses protect their innovations in the contracting states of the European Patent Convention (EPC) and around the world, by examining patent applications to decide on applicants' potentially most valuable asset: the patentability of their invention.
