Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our AdTech engineering team at Wolt. This role is pivotal in transforming Wolt into a premier destination for advertisers. You will be involved from the early stages, helping to shape the architecture and technology choices of the project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the performance of our ad server.
- Create new ad management interfaces for our merchants and brands.
- Ensure the relevance and quality of our ads.
- Efficiently store and query ad performance data.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin; open to working with both.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes for CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- High ownership, freedom, and accountability in your work.
- Collaborate with DoorDash peers in the U.S. to align on best practices and solutions.

- Strong background in backend services development.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and share knowledge.
