About the Role
Are you a creative thinker who thrives on turning ambiguous problems into business solutions? As a Senior Data Scientist at Wolt, you’ll dive deep into our data to tackle crucial business challenges. You will diagnose problem areas, develop new metrics, design experiments, uncover foundational causal relationships in our data, and influence strategic decisions. This role combines scientific expertise with stakeholder engagement, positioning you at the forefront of driving business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose problem areas and develop new metrics.
- Design experiments to test hypotheses.
- Uncover causal relationships in data to influence strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations teams to guide measurement strategies and tactical decisions.
- Expand the Wolt platform globally through data-driven insights.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in a data science or analytics role.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis using tools like Python, Matlab, R.
- Proficiency in SQL for handling large datasets.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a data-driven, hypothesis-based approach.
