Palta is a multi-product tech platform developing several mobile apps focused on health and well-being with a combined audience of more than 60 million monthly active users. Our portfolio includes successful companies like Flo, Simple, and Zing. We are currently seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team and help us continue to innovate and grow.
About the Role
As a Backend Developer at Palta, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our applications. You will work closely with our team of engineers, designers, and product managers to develop new features and improve existing ones. Your work will directly impact the reliability, security, and effectiveness of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services to support interactive user traffic and machine learning models.
- Implement regular processes to aggregate data from various sources and provide endpoints for results.
- Store and process log data efficiently.
- Ensure robust monitoring systems, tests, and CI/CD pipelines are in place.
- Utilize cloud solutions to enhance our backend capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Proficiency in Go and Python, or a strong willingness to learn these languages.
- Experience in developing high compute-consuming systems.
- Familiarity with web frameworks such as Flask and Django.
- Understanding of major system design concepts like load balancing, caching, and databases.
- Experience with modern cloud systems such as AWS, Google Cloud, or MS Azure.
- Passion for healthcare and launching innovative products.
