About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to tackle unique product challenges at Bolt. You will work on complex algorithms for demand prediction, optimal real-time pricing, routing, fraud detection, distributed systems, user action predictions, and much more. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing backend and frontend systems, primarily using Node.js and TypeScript.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build Bolt's backend and frontend systems.
- Code primarily in TypeScript. Experience with Node.js, React, or React-Native is welcomed but not required.
- Pay attention to detail, proactively fix bugs, and solve technical challenges.
- Contribute ideas to our product development roadmap.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
About You
- Experience in JavaScript and Node.js, C++, Java, or any object-oriented language.
- Knowledge of major frontend frameworks and experience with API design and development.
- A university degree in a technical subject (Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar).
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Good English and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and experience with SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
