Your Mission
Join our ambitious and growing developer team at reteach, where you will play a crucial role in scaling our innovative HRTech product. As a Backend Engineer, you will take proactive responsibility for the long-term code quality and participate directly in architecture decisions. You will work to improve the performance and reliability of our systems as we rapidly scale our product and organization.
You will develop features using 100% TypeScript, leveraging modern tools such as NestJS, TypeORM, and GraphQL. Your tasks will include building, testing, and shipping features through a CI/CD pipeline, utilizing Git Pull Requests, Docker, and a service-oriented system architecture. Additionally, you will work closely with the founders, benefiting from short communication channels.

Your Profile
You should have experience in backend engineering, particularly in developing APIs in Node environments. A basic understanding of relational databases and backend architectures is essential. Familiarity with testing strategies and some experience with unit and integration testing are also required. If you are passionate about web technologies and accustomed to working with modern tooling, and feel comfortable in an agile environment with strong communication skills, this role is for you.
