Position: Backend Swift Developer
Location: Cupertino, CA - Hybrid Role
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Salary Range: $104,000 - $124,800 per year
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Swift Developer to join our team in Cupertino, CA. This is a hybrid role that requires a strong understanding of Swift and its ecosystems, as well as experience with various backend technologies and frameworks. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Swift and related technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficient in Swift, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Vapor Framework, and Swift Package Manager.
- Good knowledge of performance limits, characteristics, and memory management.
- Experience with multi-threading, embedded databases, and other system data stores.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to backend services.
- Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
