Your Future Tasks
As a Cloud Operations Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for delivering and performing tasks within the technical area defined by the technical requirements. This includes writing code in various programming languages and working with infrastructure based on components available in AWS, GCP, and Azure Cloud technologies.
Our Requirements
We are looking for candidates with experience in large-scale IT environments and a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure (though AWS and GCP are also valuable). You should have experience acting as an engineer on at least one cloud-based solution and be proficient in provisioning automation and configuration using tools like Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and OpenStack. Familiarity with version control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins) is essential. Additionally, a strong understanding of network infrastructure and security concepts is required.
Nice To Have
It would be beneficial if you have experience with container management and development (Docker, Kubernetes), a good understanding of Agile/Lean principles, and knowledge of cluster storage concepts. Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows OS and cloud vendor certificates (e.g., CKA/CKAD/CSK/DCA) would be advantageous.
