Job Overview
Capgemini Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and expert Cloud Apps Performance Test Architect to join our Engineering team in Sunnyvale, CA. This role involves ensuring the detailed performance of our cloud applications, implementing performance testing at different layers, building test plans and execution strategies. You will play a key role in contributing to the success of our ambitious projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Define resiliency test strategy for cloud applications.
- Implement performance testing on different application layers, cloud infrastructure, microservices, and databases.
- Build test plans, execution, and monitoring strategies.
- Build CI pipelines for continuous testing of performance test suites.
- Build test reporting and metrics.
- Generate scripts in Python, shell script, PostgreSQL.
- Generate test data for performance testing.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or similar education.
- 7+ years' experience in defining strategy for implementing performance testing for large scale cloud applications (in multiple countries).
- Proficient in performance testing tools like Jmeter, NewRelic, LoadRunner.
- Proficient in microservices performance testing.
- Proficient in database performance testing.
- Experience in scripting GitHub Actions, Terraform, CloudFormation Templates, ARM Templates, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.
- Automate and optimize processes using tools like Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Nice to Have
- Experience in microservices Architecture AKS Azure, Angular, .Net, MQTT, postgresql.
- DevOps Pipeline development for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
