Job Overview
Join Google as a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer specializing in AI/ML. In this role, you will be part of the Google Cloud team, helping companies, schools, and governments transition to Google products. You will support them by swiftly resolving technical issues and demonstrating how our products can enhance productivity, collaboration, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Customer Problem Management: Effectively diagnose, resolve, or implement new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products, specifically AI/ML products on GCP.
- Consultation and Expertise: Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
- 24/7 Support: Work as part of a global team of engineers/consultants to ensure 24-hour customer support, including the need to sometimes work non-standard work hours or shifts.
- Customer Advocacy: Understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering teams, to improve the product and drive high-quality production.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Develop an understanding of Google's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience coding in a general-purpose coding language or in system design, troubleshooting, and advocating for customers' needs, and triaging technical issues.
- 4 years of experience with 2 of the following: Web Tech, Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, AI.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in technical consulting, supporting large enterprise customers with high service-level objective and service-level agreement requirements.
- Experience with cloud computing (e.g., certifications, internships, coursework, etc.).
