Join Our Team as a Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in demonstrating how our Databricks Data Intelligence Platform can help customers solve complex data challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Form successful relationships with clients across your assigned territory, providing technical and business value in collaboration with an Account Executive and a Senior Solutions Architect.
- Technical Demonstrations: Engage clients through hands-on evaluation and Spark programming, integrating with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to building the Databricks technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
- Advisory Role: Become a Big Data Analytics advisor on aspects of architecture and design, supporting customers by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
- Professional Development: Develop both technically and in the pre-sales aspect with the goal of becoming an independently operating Solutions Architect.
What We Look For
- Experience: Technical customer-facing experience with a background in Data Science, GenAI, Machine Learning, or Data Engineering.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in sectors such as Manufacturing, Healthcare, Public Sector, Financial Services, Insurance, or Retail.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with Big Data Analytics and major public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Travel: Ability to travel to customer sites in the Benelux region, approximately 20-30% of the time.
