Position Overview
Adyen is seeking a Data Engineer II to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our data infrastructure, ensuring the seamless flow and integrity of data across systems.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborative Solution Development: Engage with various stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective data solutions.
- Quality Pipelines and Architecture: Design and deploy high-quality ELT pipelines and data architectures.
- Data Best Practices: Establish and promote best practices in data management and governance.
- High-Quality Data and Code: Implement rigorous testing and validation protocols to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize data systems to meet stringent performance standards.
Who You Are
- Experienced in Big Data environments with a solid grasp of data and software engineering principles.
- Proficient in Python, PySpark, Airflow, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, and Git.
- A clear communicator capable of conveying complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- A self-starter with the ability to identify opportunities and lead projects.
- An innovator with a proactive approach to problem-solving and improvements.
