What You'll Do
- Build data pipelines for both batch and real-time data from diverse sources.
- Collaborate with teams to address data sourcing and provision requirements.
- Use BI tools to manipulate and summarize data and design dashboards to present information in a visually compelling way.
- Design and monitor robust data pipelines with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Drive innovation through research, development, and PoCs for new processes and technologies.
- Coordinate with Product & Technology teams to ensure data collection meets platform needs.
- Support Data Quality and Security initiatives by integrating necessary controls into the architecture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or Engineering
- Exposure to the PowerBI or Snowflake ecosystem is a bonus
- Excellent SQL querying skills
- Familiarity with RDMS, Columnar, and NoSQL engines, especially PostgreSQL or equivalent
- Background in stream data processing technologies (Kafka, NiFi, Kinesis) is a plus
- Knowledge in Python is a plus

- Enthusiastic about trailing and recommending new tools or platforms
