Job Overview
Artemis is seeking a talented Backend Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City. As a Backend Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our analytics platform for digital assets. You will work closely with our data engineering and protocol teams to develop key metrics and analytics for various blockchain protocols.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with protocol teams to identify and build key performance indicators (KPIs) that matter to them.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to support our analytics platform.
- Work with modern data stack technologies including Dagster, Snowflake, DBT, and Hightouch.
- Contribute to the development of our Django backend and Next.js frontend.
- Participate in scaling our fast-growing product and pushing the crypto industry forward.
Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience in data engineering or backend software engineering.
- You are based in the broader New York City area.
- You have a passion for shipping products, exercising agency, and have a growth mindset.
- You have a strong interest in crypto and blockchain technologies.
- Experience with onchain data (e.g., Dune, Flipside) is a plus.
