Join Our Team as a Data Engineer
Manychat, a leading Chat Marketing platform, is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team in Barcelona. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that extend beyond internal needs and reach a global audience.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Manychat, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and supporting the growth of our Data Platform, which is built on the Snowflake cloud database. You will handle around 50k RPS and use Anchor Modeling techniques for data storage. Your responsibilities will include integrating new services, data, and data sources into the Data Platform, and adapting the infrastructure to meet new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data solutions using Python and Snowflake.
- Integrate new data sources and services into the Data Platform.
- Support and adapt the Data Platform infrastructure.
- Participate in system design and technical discussions.
- Ensure data security and detect potential vulnerabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Python 3, data processing, and analytics) is essential. Experience with system administration of Debian-based Linux systems, cloud environments, and AWS is required. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus. SQL expertise for data analysis and investigation is necessary.
- Experience with Snowflake: Familiarity with Snowflake, Snowpark, and Snowpark Container Services is a plus.
- Communication Skills: English proficiency at B1/B2 level is required to participate in complex technical discussions. Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.
