Job Overview
WSP USA, a leading professional services consulting firm, is offering a Data Science Internship for Fall 2024 in Kennesaw, GA. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2025 or later. The program is recognized nationally as a Top 100 Internship Program, providing interns with hands-on, meaningful work experience to enhance their education and professional aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of .NET MAUI mobile applications.
- Participate in web development tasks for ongoing client projects or with off-the-shelf commercial applications developed in-house at WSP.
- Support a variety of software engineering tasks aimed at developing technical, social, and ethical skills.
- Learn basic principles of Software Engineering under supervision.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.
Qualifications
Required
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Computer Science or related undergraduate program.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrated interest in Computer Science or related field.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
Preferred
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Computer Science and Engineering or related Masters or PhD program.
- Experience using C# and/or .NET MAUI.
- Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
